An empty reproduction replacement box for a Matchbox Lesney 8 a1 Caterpillar Tractor in a B Style.

This Matchbox Lesney reproduction box is for the earliest issue of the #8a.  There were 2 different images provided for the 8a. This box probably suits the early orange model / driver and the yellow with red driver. The later 8a2 box will have the light or darker yellow variants.

The Caterpillar Tractor models:

• 8a:  1 1/2" Long - short tracks - small box - 2 different images
• 8b: 1 5/8" Long - short tracks - larger box
• 8c: 1 7/8" Long - long tracks - larger box - 1 image issued as both B & C style boxes
• 8d: 2" Long - long tracks - larger box - D style colour box
