Matchbox Lesney 1-75 50 b or 72 a Tractor Black Tyres Pack #87

Matchbox Lesney Tractor Tyres. Suits the 1-75 models 50b or 72a Tractor. These are in black plastic and suit the later issue of the 72a Tractor and the 50b John Deere Lanz Tractor.

The front wheels of the early issue 72a model are a standard road wheel and generally do not need replacing, however those wheels are also available from RecoverToy, see Tyre Pack #86. The wheels on the later issues of the 72a and the 50b are either orange or yellow plastic and use the four tyres in this set in either black or grey. This is the black tyres kit.

The models are for display purposes only and are not for sale or included with this item.

Note that the plastic hubs are prone to shrinking over time and these tyres are made to fit hubs with some shrinkage. So they may be tight or loose depending on your hubs. Use a drop of super glue if loose and a piece of emery paper on the ID of the tyre if they are tight. Warm water also helps to heat the tyre and hub during fitting.
