Matchbox Lesney Yesteryear  7 b 1913 Mercer Raceabout Empty Repro D1 Style Box.

This model was issued in 1961 and replaced the Leyland Jacobs van in the series.

This box style is the fourth issue D1 style YesterYear box with the model now in full colour rather than the earlier line drawing styles.

The headline banner changes slightly with the test being a heavier block format of the Old West font style.

The rear face continues to have a brief history of the vehicle.
