Matchbox Lesney as it was known for most of its time as a leading United Kingom manufacturer, were makers of the world-famous Matchbox models. Initially found as Moko models through an agency, they later became branded as Matchbox, Moko Lesney, and then Lesney (Products). As with most British toy makers they fell in the early 1980's and the brand continues today as a part of Mattel.
